"Ma" mean the ghost in Vietnamese. Font types are located in the right side of words. It is example for how typography affects to the meaning of text.
Below one is English version.

Above logo is created for an exercise in class. I just use a similarly font with old film logo. Then, try make some change in illustrator.
Finally, I add a shadow effect.

I have used difference cloud effect for all in photoshop CS as Maddy's taught. Finnally, I got those things.

I love blue.
But red is also great.

Is just a shot of my memory in the childhood. It is not real, but a child soul is not real too. I use brushes lecture in Maddy's class although I am not good for using them.
I appreciate if any one give me a helpful comment.

I tried to connect words each other, although they are put in other layers. "the secret" is put in the deepest layer because i think that stand for idea of hiding. "Sex life" is the dominance. It is not only by the size but also by shape and light color. Moreover it is overlapped by "of plants" in black color.

This is my work for an exercise in class. Word sheets and images are provided from black board, I just designed layout.
"the secret sex life" is extreme contrast with the dark background of the image. I choose a serif font because it is like a tall and thin trees with branches. Moreover, "the secret" hides in small size like its meaning. "sex life" is bigger than other to explain main subject of this design. The last thing is the growing of "of plants" seeds from underground.

A combination is mix of 2 pics , I have done little in photoshop program. Firstly, erase useless space in cover picture . Secondly, use overlay effect for covering layer. Finally, i have below pictures with little more editing.



I added a multiply layer which is duplicated from covered one. Select lighten in blending mode for the bottom one. Then ,its light level is changed to the left, put a with background. Finally, I have a wonderful picture.



Just do all thing like the above picture. However, I did not add a white background, but it is black.

I created because I hide layer in multiply blending mode and use a black background. Its color hue and contrast is much natural now.


It is another of using blending mode.

It is simple illustration, but spend a lot of time for creating. A flower is standing alone inside strong winds . Petals are blowing up by wind, beside some are falling up.
Sadness and hopeless is used for the theme. Almost of color is dark, light green is use for petals like hope. Dark red Winds is eating the last hope partly, as the light is beating by the darkness.

I also create some other version for this illustrate like extreme low contrast and photoshop effected ones.
